Northrop Team Wins $214M For DISA Command, Control Update

NorthropLogoA team of contractors led by Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a potential $214 million task order to update a joint command and control system for the Defense Department.

The potential 54-month task order’s base year is worth $58 million and the team won the order through the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Encore II contracting vehicle, Northrop said Tuesday.

The Global Command and Control System-Joint is intended to connect all levels of command to situational awareness systems and help support intelligence, assess readiness and deploy applications for battlefield commanders.

Northrop’s team will perform systems and security engineering, as well as develop applications for situational awareness, force protection, C2 and intelligence support.
