Chuck Cosgrove, former chief financial officer at Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has joined CRGT as its new CFO and will oversee its finance and accounting departments.
The 30-year industry veteran will be based at CRGT’s headquarters in Reston, Va. and also lead the legal, information technology, program control and quality management departments, CRGT said Thursday.
According to the company, Cosgrove has previously managed merger-and-acquisition transactions and helped to integrate businesses into companies following acquisitions.
“We still have much work to do completing the integration of our most recent acquisition, Guident Technologies, ” said Tom Ferrando, CRGT president and CEO.
“We have completed three acquisitions over the past two and half years as part of an aggressive growth strategy, and will continue to explore opportunities for expansion, both organically and through acquisition, ” he added.
Prior to joining Comtech, Cosgrove held senior positions at government services companies such as Affiliated Computer Services, KBR (NYSE: KBR) and Planning Research Corp.
