Booz Allen Wins Two Contracts Under an $11B DHS IDIQ; Chris Kelly Comments

BoozAllenLogoBooz Allen Hamilton [NYSE: BAH] has won two, five-year contracts to provide acquisition life cycle services to the Department of Homeland Security, according to a company statement.

The contracts, awarded on November 30, 2012 and February 15, 2013, are part of DHS’ $11 billion technical, acquisition and business support services contract vehicle.

“At Booz Allen, we’ve been thinking a lot about how we can help DHS realize the full potential of its capabilities and achieve its mission goals during its next decade,” said Chris Kelly, Booz Allen senior vice president.

“The TABSS vehicle will allow us to help DHS adopt a strong, future-facing strategy and field capability against the aggregated homeland security and law enforcement mission,” he added.

Under the multiple-award contract, Booz Allen will provide program management, engineering, technology, business and financial management, and audit support services to the agency and its components.

The awards will enable Booz Alllen to support two domains of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity TABSS contract vehicle.

Booz Allen will perform program management, engineering and technology support services for domain 1 and business management, financial management and audit support services for domain 2.

According to the company release, Booz Allen has been working with DHS since the agency was established.
