Federal information technology and consulting provider Catapult Technology has appointed 17-year CIA and 11-year contracting veteran Bruno Mahlmann senior vice president for national security information technology solutions.
Mahlmann will lead a newly-formed division the company formed with the intent of winning business with federal intelligence agencies, the company said Thursday.
He will also manage the company’s relationships with sister companies Strategic Intelligence Group and CompSec in the intelligence arena.
“We are pleased that Bruno brings nearly 30 years of global operations and program management experience with the federal government and consultative experience within the private sector to Catapult’s national security IT solutions division,” said Mark Hunker, president and CEO of Catapult.
Before joining Catapult, he served as a corporate vice president of business development at Salient Federal Solutions, where he led efforts to win new business in the defense and intelligence sectors.
While at Salient, our sister site ExecutiveBiz spoke with Mahlmann about that company’s efforts in the cloud services and agile software development segments (click here to read Mahlmann’s full spotlight).
He also held positions at Electronic Data Systems, now HP Enterprise Services (NYSE: HPQ) in the eight years prior.
