The changes are effective immediately with team members of the new organization reporting to Karen Puckett, chief operating officer.

“Karen will continue to retain all of her existing duties, including our local market teams and consumer-focused operations,” said Glen Post, CEO and president.

Post said CenturyLink’s business segment is growing and the company made the reorganization to create a single organization focused on network services enterprise customers.

Currently, those sales and operations functions fall under the network services and regional markets group organizations within the enterprise markets group.

Starting in the first quarter of CenturyLink’s 2013 fiscal year, the company will report the consumer, business, wholesale and data hosting services segments in its financial statements.

Savvis, CenturyLink’s cloud, colocation and managed hosting services subsidiary will continue operating within CenturyLink’s data hosting segment with CEO Jim Ousley and President Jeff Von Deylen leading.
