Parsons Names 15-Year IT Vet Timothy Potier CISO; Scott Carl Comments

Timothy Potier

Parsons Corp. has appointed 15-year information technology industry veteran Timothy Potier vice president and chief information security officer, the company announced Thursday.

He will be responsible responsible for leading strategy and growth of the company’s information security program.

Potier brings experience in cybersecurity from multiple industries to help grow the company’s security portfolio, said Scott Carl, VP and chief information officer.

Before joining Parsons, he served as an operations and security practices director at an IT consultant that provides information assurance and security services to customers in the commercial, state and local government sectors

Prior to that, he served as CISO for global defense and intelligence company providing systems and products to government and commercial customers worldwide.
