The company said Alderson, who joined the company last year as EVP for strategic development, will be responsible for SRA’s civil government; defense; health; and intelligence, law enforcement and homeland security business groups.

Atkin’s new responsibilities will include driving efficiencies in business practices and coordinating efforts on cross-organizational initiatives.

“With the combined skills of the SRA executive team, I’m excited about our ability to be one of the top-performing companies in our industry, ” President and CEO Bill Ballhaus said.

“Tim’s government experience and successful background running multiple parts of SRA’s business complements Deb’s external client-facing focus.”

Tim Atkin

Alderson, a 25-year government services veteran, has led organizations focused on providing federal clients with technical services, logistics, systems engineering, integration support and C4I support (command, control, communications, computers and intelligence).

Atkin joined the company in 1998 and most recently led the company’s global health business, which provides global health consulting services to public and private clients around the world.

In 1999, he helped launch the company’s critical infrastructure protection program and cybersecurity offerings.
