Sikorsky Wins $804M Contract Modification to Build Black Hawk Helicopters

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a United Technologies (NYSE: UTX) subsidiary, has won an $804, 426, 634 firm-fixed-price modification contract to build UH-60M and HH-60M black hawk helicopters.

The award will also fund associated engineering, program management, provisioning, technical publications, and logistics support.

Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2014.

One bid was solicited and one bid was received.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
