SAIC Wins Global Harvest Counterintell Program Extension

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) will continue to run a U.S. Air Force program for collecting intelligence on terrorist targets and financing, Defense News reports.

The company won a month-by-month, sole-source extension for the program, run by the Air Force‘s ISR agency (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency, Aram Roston writes.

Citing contracting documents, Roston reports SAIC will get the extension as the DIA prepares a new contract.

Dubbed “Global Harvest, ” the program aims to provide intelligence on active and illicit finance of terror groups and assess targets of interest to terror groups, the report said.
