CSC’s Yogesh Khanna Wins 2012 ‘CTO Innovator Award’

Yogesh Khanna, vice president and chief technology officer for the North American public sector at Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC), has won this year’s CTO Innovator Award in the large company category.

According to CSC, Khanna was recognized for helping establish the company’s data center consolidation and cloud computing go-to-market strategy and offerings.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council and Washington Technology sponsor the award.

He also developed a strategic roadmap for product offerings to support the federal government’s data center consolidation initiative and for helping clients migrate to the as-a-service consumption model.

The company also credited him with starting up its innovation task force, comprised of CSC’s division CTOs.

According to the company, he is a 20-year veteran of technology and management positions in the information technology, systems engineering and integration, information assurance, financial services and telecommunications markets.

Before joining CSC, he held positions at companies including aviation and military contractor DynCorp International and MITRE, the non-profit operator of federally-funded research-and-development centers.
