Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) has won a $152 million task order from the U.S. Army to provide information technology support services to the Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command.
According to a company release, this order runs for 37 months and was awarded through the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 contract vehicle.
The company’s IT support and processes are intended to help AMCOM carry out its mission, said Glenn San Giacomo, a senior vice president and business unit general manager.
IT support work will include enterprise design, integration, and consolidation; IT education and training; IT program and project management; systems operations and maintenance; network support; and embedded information systems security.
The company will also provide AMCOM systems analysis, systems design, systems development, application and systems administration, programming, software development, IT operations, configuration management and communications.
SAIC is also one of five companies holding prime positions on a $750 million contract for engineering and installation services for the Navy‘s C4ISR initiatives (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).
