ManTech Announces New Cyber SVP Role for Eric Eifert; Bill Varner Comments

ManTech International Corp. (NASDAQ: MANT) announced Friday Eric Eifert, general manager of the cyber defense solutions business unit, is now a senior vice president.

The promotion was effective as of April 1, Eifert previously told ExecutiveBiz, where he discussed how he helps the company shape its direction for cyber defense services (click here for his full executive spotlight).

Eifert will be responsible for expanding the company’s cyber defense services to customers.

Bill Varner, chief operating officer of the mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group, said Eifert has helped build the cyber defense business since he joined the company in 2001 as a computer forensics engineer.

Eifert also serves in the Air Force Reserve as the reserve detachment commander for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

Before joining the company, Eifert was a special agent and computer crime investigator for the AFOSI.

He is also is an adjunct professor of graduate computer forensics and cyber investigations at George Mason University.
