James Sheaffer To Retire; David Zolet Named CSC NA Public Sector Head

James Sheaffer, president of the North American public sector at Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC), will retire later this month, the company announced Tuesday.

David Zolet, president of business development for the NA public sector, will succeed Sheaffer and will be responsible for cost and profit management disciplines, the company said.

Sheaffer was appointed president of the federal sector business unit in 2005 after serving as president of the business area supporting the Treasury Department, including the Internal Revenue Service.

Before joining CSC, Zolet served as vice president for systems integration at IBM, where he led an organization that developed information technology solutions for clients.

He previously had a 26-year career with Northrop Grumman, where his most recent position was vice president and general manager of enterprise infrastructure within the IT sector.
