DynCorp Philippines Task Force Support Contract Now $181M

DynCorp International‘s U.S. Navy contract to provide operations support to a joint task force in the Philippines is now worth $181, 775, 364, the Defense Department announced Wednesday.

The company received a fifth option on a previously-awarded contract to provide the task force with labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidental engineering.

Work in the Philippines will finish by September 2012, according to the Pentagon.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii is the contracting activity and $8, 910, 028 in contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

DynCorp also holds a potential $432 million contract to manage base supply facilities for the Air Force and Navy.
