CGI Subsidiary Wins $74M For State Dept. Visa Processing

CGI Federal‘s (NYSE: GIB) subsidiary Stanley Associates Inc. has won $74.6 million in two task orders to help the U.S. State Department process visa applications.

CGI said these are the sixth andseventh orders issued under the Global Support Strategy contract, a 10-year multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The first order, worth $50.4 million over two base years and four option years, is for citizen and immigrant visa application processing and services in India.

A second order, worth $24.2 million over one base year and four option years, covers the introduction of the GSS program at U.S. embassies and consulates in Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and Romania.

The subsidiary currently supports visa processing in 33 countries around Asia, the Asian Pacific, Central America, Eastern Europe, Russia and West Africa.
