Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) has been named a prime contractor on a potential $496 million information technology contract with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Marshals Service.

The Bethesda, Md.-based firm said the seven-year Enterprise Standard Architecture IV contract covers hardware, software and security products and services.

The contract was awarded under the General Services Administration‘s Alliant vehicle and can also field orders for cloud computing, mobility and data center consolidation services.

Other agencies could potentially use ESA IV, the company said.

Earlier this month, Lockheed was included under a potential $398 million contract with Boeing (NYSE: BA) to provide launch services for two Air Force missions.
