John Fraser Comments on ASM’s $985M Air Force Medical IDIQ Spot

ASM Research Inc. holds a prime spot on an estimated $985 million contract to provide support services for the U.S. Air Force’s medical service.

President and Chief Operating Officer John Fraser said the acquisition process took three years.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has one base year and four option periods.

AFMS components will use the vehicle to acquire professional, engineering and technical services, studies, analyses and evaluations.

Other awardees include Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), CACI International Inc. (NYSE: CACI), Deloitte, Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT), ManTech International Corp.’s (NASDAQ: MANT) Evolvent Technologies subsidiary, Serco Inc. and TASC Inc.

The Defense Department expects contract work to finish Feb. 1, 2018.
