Raytheon Wins $77M for New Navy F-18 Radar Warning Receivers

Raytheon Co.‘s (NYSE: RTN) space and airborne systems unit won a $77, 267, 880 U.S. Navy contract modification to produce radar warning receivers for threat identification.

The Defense Department said Raytheon will provide 89 AN/ALR-67(V)3 receivers that interface with F/A-18 aircraft weapon systems, data buses, radars and mission computers.

Raytheon said it will also deliver nine countermeasure signal processor weapons replacement assemblies.

The Pentagon expects Raytheon to complete work by December 2014.

The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
