Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) won a potential $504 million U.S. Air Force contract to support a modernization program, the company announced Wednesday.
The initial contract award is $120 million and the contract has eight years, including options.
The Falls Church, Va.-based contractor will lead a team of seven contractors to help the Air and Space Operations Center through planning, execution and awareness.
Capgemini’s Herndon, Va.-based government solutions unit is on the team.
The team will also manage a network infrastructure and mission applications for the Air Force.
Northrop’s warfighter integration and test laboratory is located in Newport News, Va.
The company recently won a $189 million cyber defense contract to provide cybersecurity protection services across Pentagon and intelligence community networks.
