General Dynamics Wins $82M Army Info Security Contract

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) won an $82, 935, 215 U.S. Army contract to provide security for information systems, the Defense Department announced Tuesday.

The Falls Church, Va.-based contractor will provide wide area network services to support the Army’s multi-level security information systems.

The company’s C4 systems business unit will perform work in Arlington, Va. and San Antonio.

The Pentagon expects work under the cost-plus-award-fee contract to finish on Feb. 28, 2016.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command in Triangle Park, N.C. is the contracting activity.

The company’s information technology business unit is also providing cybersecurity services to the Defense Intelligence Agency under a potential $86 million task order.

GDIT is contracted to protect DIA’s information and enterprise-level assets.
