Raytheon Wins $106M for Aegis Radar Transmitters, Fire Control

Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) won a $106, 454, 603 U.S. Navy contract modification to produce two radar transmitter groups and one missile fire control system.

The Defense Department said the AN/SPY-1D(V) transmitter groups and MK 99 Mod 14 fire control system are for the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System.

Raytheon will perform 80 percent of work in Andover, Mass. and the rest in Sudbury, Mass. and Portsmouth, R.I.

The Pentagon said it expects Raytheon to complete its delivery by September 2017.

The Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington is the contracting activity.
