Ensco Wins $70M Contract for Govt.-Wide Infrastructure Assessment

Ensco Inc. has won a $70 million government-wide contract to assess vulnerabilities in U.S. and allied infrastructure systems, programs and organizations.

Ensco said the five-year contract was awarded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, the Pentagon’s agency for countering weapons of mass destruction.

ENSCO will provide balanced survivability assessment support services and recommend changes in areas including:

  • concepts of operations
  • infrastructure
  • technology

ENSCO has participated in the DTRA’s infrastructure assessment program for 16 years and the company has assessed 300 government organizations, programs and facilities.

ENSCO’s advanced projects and applications division will perform the assessments.
