Brig. Gen. Chris Tucker to Lead ITT Exelis International Strategy

ITT Exelis (NYSE: XLS) has appointed retired Army Brig. Gen. Chris Tucker as vice president of international government relations, Exelis announced Tuesday.

The 32-year Army veteran will oversee and develop Exelis’ international strategy. The company said he will also help lead the company’s relationships with:

  • Defense Department and government agencies
  • military service staff
  • international attaches

Exelis said Tucker will provide risk analysis information and will coordinate with U.S. regulatory agencies as part of the process of exporting Exelis products.

Most recently, Tucker served as commander of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, leading the security assistance and foreign military sales programs.
