STG Grabs Robert Phoebus as Defense Sector SVP

STG Inc. has appointed Robert L. Phoebus to serve as senior vice president of the company’s defense sector, the company has announced.

In his new position, Phoebus will provide oversight for the defense sector, which provides the Defense Department with information technology operations, warfighter systems, cyber defense, test and evaluation support and system engineering.

Phoebus has held such positions as chief operation officer for Federal Resources Corp. as well as management positions at SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI), Nortel Government Solutions and Electronic Data Systems.

Simon Lee, STG president and CEO, incidated that Phoebus will play a role “in STG’s march towards a billion dollar company.”

Phoebus’ appointment follows the recent appointment of Tamera Rush (see our previous story here) as vice president of the defense sector, where manages operations for the Aberdeen, Md. region.
