FBI Seeking Contractor to Aggregate Public Records

The FBI is seeking to contract a company to aggregate public records, including thousands of secured, individual user accounts.

According to a request for information posted Friday, the FBI said the provider must have a web-based user interface, should be able to run queries based on individual attributes and return all available public records and identifiers.

Responses are due Jan. 9, 2012. The FBI also wants aggregators for:

  • business information
  • news publications
  • pharmaceutical records
  • mortgage transactions
  • telephone subscriber data
  • an online legal research service
