TASC Names Ret. Air Force Gen., Head of Cyberspace David Cotton to Head Cyber Operations

TASC Inc. has appointed a second former U.S. Air Force general to an executive post in as many days.

The company announced this morning that retired Brig. Gen. David Cotton will lead the development and growth of all company cyber-related business as vice president of its cyber group.

Cotton’s most recent post during his more than 29 years with the Air Force was as director of cyberspace operations. He was responsible for transforming the branch’s 44, 000-person telecommunications and IT workforce over to cyber operations.

Yesterday, the company announced it had named retired Air Force two-star general John T. Brennan to lead the company’s business unit that supports the Air Force.
