SRA Appoints Deb Alderson EVP of Strategic Development
SRA International Inc. has appointed Deborah “Deb” Alderson to the newly created position of executive vice president of strategic development, the company announced in a release Tuesday.
Alderson will guide the firm’s efforts to enter new markets and develop large, strategic customer accounts.
She will also work across the company’s groups and growth organization to support the development and implementation of SRA’s corporate strategy.
The SRA announcement says Alderson, a 25-year government services veteran, has led large organizations focused on technical services, logistics, C4I, systems engineering and integration in support of federal government customers, including the Department of Homeland Security and all military service branches.
“Deb has spent her entire career in the government services industry, and will be a strong asset to SRA as we grow our footprint across the government sector,” said SRA President and CEO Bill Ballhaus.
In March, Alderson was selected for a Federal 100 award by Federal Computer Week. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in science from Virginia Tech and is also on the board of directors for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
