Northrop Wins $46M Air Force Modification to Support Global Hawk Development Program

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a $45, 835, 942 contract modification to provide software maintenance in support of air vehicles and ground support segments as the Global Hawk system integrator.

The Defense Department‘s Nov. 18 announcement of the award also mentioned that Northrop will support an integrated Global Hawk combined development and operations flight test system. The company will help plan, conduct and analyze the test system.

The Pentagon said this work will help keep a development program operating and that Northrop was the only firm to be solicited and submit a proposal for the contract work.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
