The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) a not-to-exceed $7.4 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor program.
Lockheed will develop upgrades, incorporate new requirements, add capabilities and boost performance of the aircraft, according to a Defense Department release.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
