Lockheed Wins $163M Contract for Apache Night Sensor

The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) missiles and fire control business unit a $163, 700, 048 contract modification to provide a modernized target acquisition designation sight and pilot’s night vision sensors for the AH-64D Apache helicopter.

Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2014. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
