ICF Third Quarter Profit Jumps 26%, Revenue 11%

ICF International (NYSE: ICFI) released its financial results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011.

The company reported its quarterly net income grew 26.3 percent year-over-year to $9.3 million while earnings per diluted share rose 23.7 percent to 47 cents.

The company also reported that it generated $218.7 million in total revenue, a 10.6 percent increase over the $197.7 million it reported for the third quarter of 2010.

Organic revenue grew 10.1 percent over that period.

“This was a record sales quarter for ICF, demonstrating our increasingly strong competitive position in priority areas of government and commercial spending, ” said chairman and CEO Sudhakar Kesavan. “Additionally, third quarter contract awards reflected our ability to leverage our domain expertise to capture larger implementation contracts.”
