CACI Wins Prime Spot on $2.5B OPM Background Investigation IDIQ; Paul Cofoni Comments
CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has been selected as one of three prime contractors to provide background investigation fieldwork services for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, extending CACI’s work for the OPM that began in 2004.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a $2.5 billion ceiling and a ten-month base period with four option years.
“With more than 70 percent of our own employees having security clearances, we know the value of this critically important credential to performing the work we do across the federal government,” said CACI President and CEO Paul Cofoni.
“It’s clear that the role that thorough and complete background investigation plays in safeguarding sensitive information is nothing less than our nation’s first line of defense in keeping our homeland secure.”
