ICF to Support Head Start Programs on $34M Health and Human Services Award

ICF International (NYSE: ICFI) has won $34.3 million U.S. Department of Health and Human Services contract to support a Head Start program in the administration for children and families.

ICF will support migrant and seasonal programs and American Indian and Alaskan native programs on the six-month and four option year award.

ICF will provide training and technical consulting assistance, program management and collaboration services to program grantees.

Work will aim to improve the quality of services that families and children receive and better prepare children as they enter school.

“Through our work in six Head Start regions, ICF will run the gamut of large inner city grantees to remote rural programs, ” said Maureen Murphy, a senior vice president for ICF International. “This provides us the opportunity to expand our already robust skills and understanding of the program’s constituents and ensures that we are providing best practices wherever we work with Head Start grantees.”
