Harris to Purchase Man-Pack Radio for Tactical Air Control Party

The U.S. Navy has awarded Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) a $14, 898, 576 contract modification for support to the Air Force Tactical Air Control Party Modernization Program, including purchase of the AN/PRC-117G man-pack radio and accessories.

Work will be performed in Rochester, N.Y., and is expected to completed by December 2011. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity.
