CGI (NYSE: GIB) has announced the appointment of George Schindler, currently president of CGI Federal, to be president of U.S. operations effective Oct. 1, 2011. Donna Ryan has been named president of CGI Federal, subject to the approval of the Defense Security Service.

CGI also announced the retirement of Donna Morea, president of U.S. and India operations.

“I would like to thank Donna Morea for her tremendous contribution to CGI and I am pleased that she has agreed to be nominated for election to our board of directors at our annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in February 2012 so that we may continue to benefit from her experience,” said Michael E.
