CGI (NYSE: GIB) has announced the appointment of George Schindler, currently president of CGI Federal, to be president of U.S. operations effective Oct. 1, 2011. Donna Ryan has been named president of CGI Federal, subject to the approval of the Defense Security Service.
CGI also announced the retirement of Donna Morea, president of U.S. and India operations.

Prior to being president of CGI Federal, George had overall responsibility for CGI operations in the Greater New York region, while also overseeing CGI’s U.S. banking and financial service practice.
Ryan has worked at CGI for 24 years, being responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of services to CGI’s federal civilian agency clients.
