Alion Wins $47M Contract to Provide Air Force R&D for Ballistic Missile Defense

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Alion Science and Technology a $47, 595, 013 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery requirements contract.

The company will continue to research and develop ballistic missile defense technologies, including upgrades of training systems and combat system requirements.

Work will be performed in Chicago, Ill. The Air Force Materiel Command‘s enterprise sourcing group,  Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity.
