Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a contract worth up to $169.7 million over five years to support the U.S. Navy’s amphibious warfare program office to support current and future Navy and Marine Corps needs.
The delivery order was awarded under the NAVSEA SeaPort-e contract and has a base year estimated to be worth $21 million.
Alion will support the acquisition and production of the Navy’s LHA (R) class of amphibious assault ships and their next generation ship-to-shore connector.
The company will also support the service life extension program of its current landing craft air cushion.
