SAIC said it will leverage its information integration and data analytics expertise with VCS’ healthcare IT and clinical workflow optimization capabilities.

Approximately 600 VCS employees have joined SAIC’s health solutions business unit led by the unit’s general manager Steve Comber.

HSBU is a part of the health, energy and civil solutions group led by group president Joe Craver.

“We welcome VCS and its employees to SAIC, and look forward to combining our capabilities to better serve our federal and commercial customers through the implementation of commercial EHR products and solutions,” said Craver.
