General Dynamics to Convert 60 More Tanks for Saudi Arabia

The U.S. Army has awarded General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) land systems business unit a $29, 750, 240 cost-no-fee contract for material sets and labor.

The company will help convert 60 M1A2 tanks to a M1A2S configuration for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received. Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio, through Aug. 30, 2012.

The U.S. Army TACOM LCMC, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
