STG, Inc. will develop, deploy and operate network infrastructure and desktop support for the Inspector General‘s office of the Housing and Urban Development Department.
STG won a $7 million award for the work, which will support OIG headquarters, field offices and employees in the field.
OIG has a statutory mission of detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse and promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations, the office said.
“Relationships are everything, ” said Simon Lee, STG’s president and CEO. “The government had confidence in STG’s professionalism and demonstrated ability to perform, with very little notice and a very short window for transition. STG conducted a seamless transition in less than four days and is now fully engaged in performance.”
