SAIC Wins $63M Army Contract to Sustain Mine-Resistant Vehicles and Provide Joint Logistics Integration

SAIC (NYSE: SAI), McLean, Va., has won a $63, 231, 564 firm-fixed-price level-of-effort U.S. Army contract. The award modifies an existing contract.

The company will service, augment and sustain mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles and provide joint logistics integrator capability for integrated logistics, engineering and fielding services.

Work will be performed in McLean, Va., Kuwait and Afghanistan with an estimated completion date of Sept. 18, 2011.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
