Cubic Defense Picks Up $49M Naval Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded Cubic Defense Applications Inc. a $49, 530, 355 firm-fixed-priced/indefinite-delivery contract.

Cubic will replace the Marine Corps’s Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System and include the training systems of the Instrumented-Tactical Engagement Simulation System Increment I and additional weapon training system capabilities.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. and is expected to be completed in July 2016. Marine Corps Systems Command, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
