CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB) will provide the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with a regional flexible health insurance exchange IT framework as the business process redesign services contractor for the Collaborative Insurance Exchange Systems project.
The Commonwealth and the University of Massachusetts Medical School lead the multistate project, which is funded by Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. New England states will be able to tailor the framework for their individual needs.
The framework will meet Affordable Care Act requirements.

New England states include Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
