Accenture to Stabilize Air Force Enterprise Accounting Management System

Accenture Federal Services, L.L.C (NYSE: ACN)., Reston, Va., is modifying a $7, 081, 501 firm-fixed-price contract for the U.S. Air Force‘s defense enterprise accounting management system.

The system is designed to allow the U.S. Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and Air Force to reduce and ultimately eliminate reliance on legacy stove-piped systems.

This modification is being issued to continue the post production support of the current contract to allow the system integrator to achieve system stabilization.

Work will be performed in Reston, Va., and is expected to be completed October 2011. Wright-Patterson, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
