Raytheon Wins $44M Modification to Flight Test Support Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Missile Systems (NYSE: RTN), Tucson Ariz., a $44, 007, 792 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development, integration, and flight test support for the AIM-9X System Improvement Program. The contract is 70 percent Navy and Air Force purchases. Purchases by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates; Singapore; Korea, and Turkey under the Foreign Military Sales Program account for the rest of the contract.

Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in December 2013. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
