L-3 Communications Wins $10M Modification to Navy Tactical Data Systems Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded L-3 Communications Corp. (NYSE: LLL), Salt Lake City, Utah, a $10, 094, 189 modification to a firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for 21 Tactical Common Data Link Systems. The systems will support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division‘s Surface/Aviation Interoperability Laboratory.

Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is expected to be completed in May 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
