DRS Wins $85M Army Battlefield Computer Tracking Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded DRS Tactical Systems, Inc., Melbourne, Fla., an $85, 170, 000 modification to a firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract for the procurement of urgent and bridging quantities for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below Computer Systems.  

Work will be performed in Melbourne, Fla., with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2012.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
