Dell Services Wins $252M Nuclear Regulatory Commission Contract for IT Outsourcing Support Services; Pineda Comments

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has awarded Dell’s (NASDAQ: DELL) wholly-owned subsidiary, Perot Systems Government Services, a $252 million, six-year contract to operate and maintain an agency-wide IT infrastructure with IT services, hardware, software and enterprise products.

Core services will include program management, Blackberry support services, email and messaging, file and print, personal computing, software license management, network management, remote access, integration and high performance computing.

Richard Pineda, vice president of Dell Services Federal Government, said,  “Dell Services greatly appreciates the opportunity to assist the Nuclear Regulatory Commission with standing up a centralized and efficient IT infrastructure in addition to the accompanying support services.
