SAIC Lands $21 Million USDA Contract

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) booked a prime contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service to “provide the expertise, technical knowledge, and staff support for a Comprehensive Robust Information Security program designed to safeguard information entrusted to the Forest Service.”

The deal carries a one-year base term, a pair of one-year options, and a total value of $21 million.

“SAIC is honored that the Forest Service selected us to help in fortifying its information security program through information security standards, applying best practices and the use of advanced cyber technologies, ” said Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
