URS Federal Boss Randy Wotring Breaks Down New Navy Contract

URS (NYSE:URS) picked up a contract to provide technical and programming support to the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.

The deal carries a maximum value of $47 million with a base year and four one-year options.

The firm will provide software engineering, analysis, research and development, among other tasks.

“We are proud to have been selected to expand our technical support work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and to be helping the Navy develop and evaluate new systems and technologies, ” URS Federal Services President Randall Wotring said.
